“Gooooood morning Vietnam” rung in my head as my latest group of Maher Tour adventurers flew into Hanoi. This bustling metropolis set on the banks of the Red River is one of the most ancient capitals in the world.
Hi and welcome to my new blog.
I’m excited to share with you some stories and photographs from my recent trips around New Zealand and overseas, as an addition to my online photographic portfolio.
The last time I visited the small North Island surf town of Raglan was 38 years ago. A group of us hired a house overlooking Manu Bay, which is also referred to as ‘The Point’. This spot is famous for having the longest left-hand surf break in the world and was featured in the 1966 movie The Endless Summer and also in the 2010 movie Last Paradise.
As you may have already read in the ‘about me’ section of my website, I’m also a tour leader for one of New Zealand’s top tour companies, Maher Tours.
